The Villains Release Third Album of Heartland Rock

The Villains are a hardworking Atlanta-based five-piece whose easy-flowing style carries on the tradition of mid-70s American heartland-rock and AM Gold. Think early Tom Petty, Pure Prairie League, Dr. Hook or the Ozark Mountain Daredevils – they’re a little like a high-spirited mishmash of the sound of all those acts, with just enough professional polish on the production end.

A Little Something for the Pain is The Villains’ newly released third CD. Petty’s original drummer in the Heartbreakers, Stan Lynch, produced their previous album, Velocity, in 2012, which resulted in two singles making Billboard’s Adult Contemporary Top 40 radio airplay chart.
