Hard-driving Savannah-based rock band Kylesa have announced an indefinite hiatus. In late April, the group posted on their Facebook page that “after 15 years of nonstop touring and writing, we decided that it is time for a break… As of now we have no plans to play any shows or work on any new material. We have collectively decided to take a hiatus with no set date to reconvene.” The group went on to thank their many fans and friends for years of solid support.
Kylesa, consistently anchored by guitarist/vocalists Phillip Cope and Laura Pleasants, have released seven albums, plus assorted singles and EPs, during this phase of their existence. Their most recent album, Exhausting Fire, came out in October.
