Lady Antebellum’s Charles Kelley Releases Solo Single

'The Driver' features Dierks Bentley and Eric Paslay

Though Lady Antebellum is still going strong, Charles Kelley, one-third of the country pop trio, is spreading his wings. The Augusta native who graduated from Lakeside High School in Evans and earned a degree in finance from the University of Georgia, has released his first single. “The Driver” is co-written with Abe Stoklasa and Eric Paslay, who is featured on the record along with Dierks Bentley. Kelley told Rolling Stone Country that the tune reflects the last eight years of his life and his “appreciation for the audience, that appreciation for your road family, and doing what you love to do.” Look for a solo album from Kelley some time next year.
