Dallas Davidson Concert Benefits Georgia Music

Dallas Davidson, just named BMI Country Songwriter of the Year, and his band will headline a concert at Albany’s State Theatre on Wed. Nov. 21 with all proceeds to benefit the Georgia Music Foundation, which publishes Georgia Music magazine. Bo Henry and Brandon Fox will open the Thanksgiving Eve show; tickets are $20 in advance, doors open at 7:30 and the show starts at 8:30. BMI noted that Davidson, the newly elected chair of the Georgia Music Foundation, had five of the most performed country music songs last year, with “Country Girl (Shake It for Me) and “I Don’t Want This Night to End” both recorded by Luke Bryan; “If Heaven Wasn’t So Far Away” by Justin Moore; and “Just a Kiss” and “We Owned the Night” recorded by Lady Antebellum.
