Athens-based musician, singer and songwriter Thayer Sarrano has become one of that city’s most respected go-to players for session and touring duty, having worked with acts including Cracker, Camper Van Beethoven, of Montreal, T. Hardy Morris and numerous others. She’s also released several alluring albums of dreamy, Southern psychedelia, the third and most recent of which, Shaky, will be released on August 28th.
“Thayer Sarrano is one of my favorite new artists,” Patterson Hood of Drive-By Truckers has stated. “She’s a quadruple threat, as she writes super cool songs, has an amazing voice and plays both guitars and keys extremely well. She’s also a great stage presence and person.”
Among Sarrano’s upcoming Georgia performance dates are Sept. 17th at Sky City in Augusta, Sept. 18th at the Seney-Stovall Chapel in Athens, and Sept. 23rd at Berry College in Mount Berry.
